Aikon Labs LLC is the start-up venture behind PlanetAikon™, an Innovation Ecosystem for software Products and Intellectual Property. This incubation ecosystem powered by a community and connected through a unique platform, helps individuals and organizations with innovative ideas to transform them into software solutions.
Aikon Labs is incorporated in the State of Delaware in US. The core team is based out of Pune and we utilize PlanetAikon to tap innovation capabilities on demand. The company is founded by Dilip Thomas Ittyera.
Our Vision is to create a unique and successful business model that helps transform Ideas into Software using a Community that “Seeds Ideas with Efforts”. The business will leverage User/Consumer driven Product Innovation, Community Efforts and Collaboration – the fundamentals of Web2.0 & Product 2.0 – enabled on a unique Platform. The key to our vision has been the conviction that there is a dire need for Angel and Seed investments, more so outside the US, to help software technology startups to progress from a bootstrapping mode and successfully achieve the requisite milestones to launch into the growth mode. For every idea that reaches a potential Angel or Seed investor there are multiple times that many ideas that never reach one of them, let alone get invested in. Eventually those ideas run out of resources and die.
Established companies can also extend their innovation networks by sponsoring specific projects on the PlanetAikon.
Strategic Partnering is one of the basic tenets of our business model. We have and will continue to partner with existing communities that are interested in extending the co-creation experience to their members. We will also partner with technology companies, academia, R & D institutions, investors, legal experts who can bring to bear their expertise and value propositions for enabling the innovation ecosystem.
Dilip is a veteran in the IT industry with more than a quarter century of experiences. This is the fifth start-up that he is involved with. His experience both with established IT services companies as well as with start-ups, in both Business and Technology innovation roles, is a key factor that will positively influence the success of this venture. He is the Founder and Chief Executive of Aikon Labs.
R R Dasgupta (RR) is a strategy and consulting professional with over 20 years experience in the Industry. He has held several leadership positions which include Global Consulting Practices covering areas like e-Business/ IS Strategy, Collaboration, Content Management and CRM. He has worked with companies like IBM, Zensar and Tech Mahindra. RR is responsible for Community and Partnering Strategy.
Arun Furtado (Arun) is a technology professional with an experience of more than 10 years of which more than 4 years have been in the US at Cisco Systems. His tenure with Zensar Technologies included building and managing teams for important assignments for their largest customers, Cisco and Fujitsu. Arun is responsible for Engineering & Technology
